Background

A software publisher established in 2000 and pioneer of SaaS (Software as a Service) distribution, Oodrive has over 10 years’ experience of developing file management solutions for its clients and partners that meet three fundamental requirements - to be simple to use, technologically advanced and secure.

 

  • 2000 / Creation of Oodrive

  • 2001 / Marketing of an Internet hard disk

  • 2002 / Launching of iExtranet, a secure file-sharing system for companies

  • 2002 / Launching of AdBackup, a managed service for remote data backup.

  • 2002 / 50 reseller partners and 680 clients

  • 2002 / The MAAF chooses Oodrive’s AdBackup to back up the data of its professional clients

  • 2002 / Completel signs a partnership agreement with Oodrive to resell its sharing and backup solutions to SMEs and key accounts

  • 2003 / Oodrive, the MAAF and Wanadoo launch the “IT Peace of Mind Pack”, which includes an online backup solution, ADSL access and an insured backup and recovery guarantee in the event of a crash

  • 2005 / Over 200 reseller partners and close to 3,000 clients

  • 2006 / Oodrive acquires Mayetic, a specialist European company and pioneer of online work collaboration

  • 2006 / Oodrive forms a partnership with the Fnac to develop its “Essential Pack” (in the file sharing space section of its website)

  • 2007 / Launch of iExtranet Building & Construction

  • 2007 / Oodrive wins the European tender for Orange to launch data backup bids for individuals and very small businesses

  • 2007 / Iris Capital invests 4 million euros in Oodrive

  • 2008 / The French Ministry of Education and Research awards Oodrive the status of "Young Innovative Enterprise" for its SaaS-based business model

  • 2008 / Oodrive wins theIP-Label 1st prize trophy for service quality, in the “Publishers of Solutions” category

  • 2008 / Distribution of Fnac’s “Essential Pack”, developed in collaboration with Oodrive, on a European scale

  • 2008 / Acquisition of the BlueBackUp company, distributor of outsourced backup solutions in Northern Europe

  • 2008 / More than 800 reseller partners, and 8,000 customers around the world

  • 2009 / Oodrive forms an IT partnership with NordNet (a subsidiary of France Télécom) for its data backup and file sharing bids

  • 2009 / Oodrive revolutionises the sending of large files with its new solution: PostFiles

  • 2010 / Oodrive embarks on the conquest of Southern Europe with the launch of Oodrive Spain (Madrid)
