Timestamping of files shared online

The iExtranet online file-sharing and collaborative work platform now has a built-in timestamping service.
This timestamping service works using a third-party timestamping device that puts a time marker (timestamp) on files that are shared online.
The timestamp cannot be modified and meets current international standards. Customers can therefore rest assured that the data or transaction exists as it is shown at that moment in time.

The advantages of timestamping:

  • Legal proof of the time a file was added or downloaded on the online file-sharing platform
  • The integrity of a file is guaranteed throughout the sharing period on the iExtranet online platform

Discover the many application areas of the iExtranet online file-sharing platform timestamping service:

  • Answering calls for tender
Timestamping provides legal certification that the documents required to answer a call for tender were submitted on time.
  • Intellectual property
Timestamping allows you to certify that all types of documents (manuscripts, scripts, audio etc.) are the property of their author.
