Oodrive Mobile application for workers on the move, now available for the iPad! - 07 November 2011
For the last few weeks, users of Oodrive’s SaaS file sharing and collaborative working solutions have been able to access their online platform on their iPad. The application now supports all mobile devices – smartphones and tablets – regardless of the operating system used.
Permissions management
The iExtranet large file-sharing platform enables the administrator to set specific access and action permissions to the online files for each user in order to control and optimise the exchange of large files. These action permissions are as follows:
- Read
- Write
- Edit
- Share
- Delete
User permissions can then be updated on two levels:
Managing access permissions: using the "access management" module, permissions can be set at individual shared file level or at user level.
Managing action permissions:specific action permissions can be set for each user (or user group) from the address book or directly from the shared folder.
