Previewing shared files - iExtranet

For quickly and effectively previewing your office, multimedia and technical files, Oodrive’s file-sharing solutions include preview functions for files shared online.
Recipients of these files are able to preview them before downloading them, immediately increasing productivity.

Previewing office files

Oodrive’s file-sharing solutions enable online viewing of all your PDF, Microsoft Office and OpenOffice files hosted on your platform.
The viewer includes the following features:

Zoom in / out
Page to page navigation
Search engine with results display
Rotation

Formats currently supported are: PDF, Microsoft Office (doc, docx, xlsx, xls, ppt, pptx, pps, xla, dot) and OpenOffice (odt, ods, odp).

Previewing images

Oodrive’s file-sharing solutions enable detailed previews, thumbnails or slideshows of commonly used image formats: Bitmap (monochrome, 16-colour, 256-colour, 24-bit colour), GIF, FlashPix, JPEG (high and low resolution, RGB and CMYK), PNG (16- and 256- indexed colour - 24-bit non-indexed), PNM, TIFF (all formats except LZW compression and Planar format).

Audio and video streaming

With streaming technology, Oodrive’s file-sharing solutions enable you to listen to and view all your multimedia files online, without downloading them first.

Compatible audio and video file formats are as follows: MPEG audio, MPEG-1 Systems, MPEG-2 PS, MPEG-2 TS, ASF, AVI, WAV, Macromedia Flash (only for embedded audio), FLV, Real Audio and Video, Raw AC3, Raw MPEG, Raw MPEG video, Raw PCM 8/16 bits Mulaw/Alaw, Raw CRI ADX audio, Raw Shorten audio, SUN AU, NUT, Quicktime, MPEG-4, Raw MPEG-4 video, D V 4xm, Playstation STR, id RoQ, Interplay MVE, WC3 Movie, Sega FILM/CPK, Westwood Studios VQA/AUD, ld Cinematic (.cin), FLIC format, Sierra VMD, Sierra On-Line, Matroska, Electronic Arts Multimedia, Nullsoft Video (NSV), AAC ADTS audio, Creative VOC, American Laser Games MM, AVS, Smacker, GXF.

Designs viewer

Oodrive’s file-sharing solutions include an AutoCAD viewer that enables you to preview design files in DWG, DWF and DXF formats. These can be previewed online, with several essential functions available (zoom, layer-access, comments, etc.).
