End-to-end full encryption of backup data

• Secure connection to the AdBackup data backup server
• Backup data is encrypted (AES 256) before being sent to the AdBackup server
• Backup data stored is encrypted on the AdBackup server
• During the transfer to the data backup servers, Delta Block technology also obfuscates the data during the offsite transfer stages

Backup data protection options

Local encryption:

only the authenticated user (Windows logon) can decrypt the backup data from their hard disk

• Secure connection to the AdBackup data backup server
• Data is encrypted (AES 256) before being sent to the AdBackup data backup server

Blocking output ports

• The IT department may choose to prevent users from making copies onto a USB disk or drive

Remote deletion of local data in the event of a reported loss or theft

• If the laptop is reported lost or stolen, the IT department may decide to begin erasing the data (selected during the backup)
• The data will be erased the next time an internet connection is made
