Hot backup enables the database to be backed up while it is in use or being updated, without any interruption in activity.

By offering mailbox to mailbox data recovery, AdBackup Exchange goes a step further. In the event of an IT incident, the business no longer needs to restore the whole Exchange database. Restoration of just one mailbox is possible for immediate resumption of activity without disturbing other users in the business.

What's more, AdBackup Exchange uses Delta Block technology to optimise backup times for this type of data, which is often particularly large-volume (tens of GB). This technology separates files into blocks of bytes and only sends the updated blocks between two backups. With Oodrive, the advantage is that backups are quicker and can run in the background, allowing you to get on with your work. For example, a 10GB Exchange server differential would make up just 1% (100MB) to be backed up.
